As part of their vehicle graphics service, they also offer Chapter 8 kits. When they received an enquiry for a large number of kits from a Civil Engineering company with a range of different fleet vehicles, they turned to Victory for a cost-effective solution that would fit their customer’s needs.
The Job – Chapter 8 Kits for Civil Engineering Company
Acorn Signs customer, UB Civils, operates throughout the North of Scotland and the Western Isles. Their varied fleet needs the correct reflective and fluorescent markings at all times in order to increase safety and to meet Highways safety standards.
Brian Gribben, Sales Executive at Acorn Signs, came to us with a list of full glazed Chapter 8 kits, standard application, for 28 vehicles which included MAN TGE, Citroen Berlingo, Renault Trafic, Renault Kangoo, Mercedes Citan, Citroen Nemo and Ford Ranger (full kit, not full glazed).
The size and shape of the vehicles varied greatly, so they were looking for materials that would apply well across all kinds of contours, whilst meeting the Highways standard they needed - and at the right price.

A service to meet your needs…
As this job involved a large number of vehicles, which were all to be fitted at Acorn Signs own workshop, we co-ordinated a 3 stage delivery schedule for the kits. This allowed the fitting team at Acorn Signs to complete a group of vehicles, send them out and then receive the next bunch of kits to fit to the next group of vehicles. No backed-up workshop and a nice, smooth process!
