The Volkswagen Crafter, is the largest 3–5 tonne van produced and sold by VW, and was introduced in 2006. Like the transporter it has several variations, including diesel or electric engine, configurations including single & double cab, panel van and minibus, rear & front wheel drive. The crafter is also ideal for minibus conversions, and comes in standard and high roof options.
Yes, our Chapter 8 kits are available as full rear, half rear and full glazed vehicles. So, we can supply kits for panelled or window vans.
Each product states the mark and date range of the vehicle it is intended for. So, by checking the year and shape, as well as if the vehicle is a barn door or tail gate. We sell 4 types of kit; standard, flooded separate, flooded applied and magnetic. Magnetic is the fastest temporary kit, (which comes in large magnetic back panels), while flooded applied is the fastest permanent kit. (The yellow comes in large panels with the red affixed on top for you.)
The standard turn-around time for standard or flooded separate kits is 4 days, and 5 days for flooded applied or magnetic kits. Then it can be delivered next day. There are options to expedite this to 3/2/1 working days for manufacture.
For use in towns where you’re stopping on roads under 40mph, an engineering grade kit is the minimum requirement, such as Oralite 5400, or Nikkalite FEG. Whereas, stopping on roads up to 70mph, a prismatic kit is needed, such as Oralite 5960, AveryV8000, Nikkalite Crystal Grade OR 3M Diamond Grade.
We can sell replacement panels, using the panel number. They will be exact matches for size and colour to get the kit back to full efficiency.
Our Nikkalite and 3M kits are (sonically) edge sealed, with AveryV8000 being naturally self- sealing. This protects the chevrons from water ingress, therefore preserving the quality and efficiency over time through these conditions.
